The 16th partnership summit which aims to set the pace for a new global agenda of collaboration among the economies of the world begins in Chennai today. President of Maldives Mohd. Naseed is a guest of honour at the two-day conclave. Union Minister of Commerce and Industry will address inaugural session. The highlight of the summit will be the Malaysian exhibition on real estate to promote the country as a preferred real estate destination among investors. Following a bereavement, the Malaysian Prime Minister Mohd. Najib Abdul Razaq cut short his visit to India and returned home. The Malaysian Prime Minister was in Chennai to attend the Partnership Summit.
