In the 16th Asian Games, India won One Gold and two bronze medals yesterday. Somdev Devvarman created history by becoming the first Indian to win a gold in the men's singles tennis event. Somdev upset top seed and world number 44 Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan 6-1 6-2 in the lop-sided summit clash to achieve the historic feat. India maintained their 8th spot with a haul of 7 gold, 12 silver and 20 bronze. In the medals tally, China are leading with a haul of 165 Gold, 85 Silver and 79 Bronze.
