<span style="color: #222222;">In Ladakh, the nomination process for Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Leh General Council election was completed yesterday. After withdrawal of the election boycott call by the Apex body for People's Movement for 6th Schedule Safeguards for Ladakh, there was unprecedented response from the contestants in Leh.<br />'' <br />'' For 26  constituencies of Leh Hill Council, 164 candidates have filed their nominations. Along with major political parties like BJP, Congress and new entrant Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) a good number of Independents also filed nominations for the 6th General Council Elections of Leh.<br />'' <br />'' Out of 164 nominations, 103 nominations were filed on the last day Yesterday. 27 candidates from Aam Aadmi Party, 43 from BJP and 43 from Congress have filed nominations. 44 Independents also have also filed their papers.  Scrutiny of nominations will be held on 6th October.</span><br />''  <br />
