In Chennai, more than 160 passengers and crew bound from Chennai to Kolkata escaped unhurt when an alarm was raised after smoke came up in the cockpit of a private airlines this morning. The smoke was detected when the flight was about to depart from the Chennai Airport. Passengers were deplaned immediately and were later sent by another aircraft to Kolkotta.
