In Andhra Pradesh, Assembly Speaker N. Manohar served notices to 16 congress MLAs, who defied party whip and voted in favour of the no-confidence motion against the Government on December 5th.The Speaker in the notices asked the rebel MLAs, who shifted their loyalties to YSR Congress President Mr Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, to submit their written replies before December 29th.The notices follow the petition submitted by the congress party seeking their disqualification as MLAs as per the anti-defection law.
