In Jharkhand, 16 naxals of TPC group were killed by the rival Maoist faction at Chotki Kauria village under Bishrampur police station in Palamu district. The Maoists took away the weapons of the killed TPC naxals.Our Ranchi Correspondent reports that the Maoists attacked TPC faction of the naxals on Friday late night, when they got information that the group was taking shelter in a house at Chotki Kauria village.

The act is seen as retaliation by the Maoists of an incidence of last year, when TPC had killed 10 Maoist cadres at Lakarmanda in Chatra district. The police has launched extensive combing the area. the TPC naxals have taken away the bodies of those killed.
