16 killed, 54 injured in two road accidents in Rajasthan

At least 16 people were killed and 54 injured in two road accidents in Rajasthan yesterday. 13 passengers, including four women, were killed and 36 injured when a Gujarat Roadways bus fell into a deep gorge near Chipaberi village in Sirohi district. Sirohi SP Kailash Chandra said, while nine people died on the spot, four persons succumbed to their injuries in a hospital. The incident took place when the driver of the Mount Abu bound bus lost control over the vehicle and it skidded off the road and fell into the gorge. In another incident in Dhaulpur district, 3 persons were killed and 22 injured in a collision between a truck and a tractor trolley. Police said the victims, all occupants of the trolly, were travelling to Agra when the truck hit their vehicle near Bagcholi Khar village.
