In Iraq, a car bomb in Baghdad's Sadr City neighbourhood killed at least 16 people and wounded more than 40 others today, Police and hospital sources said. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack in a busy market in the morning. Sources said the death toll is likely to rise. Islamic State militants battling government troops in the country's north and west regularly attack Shi'ite civilian areas in the capital.
