Swami Vivekananda's 158th Birth Anniversary is being observed today all over West Bengal through various programmes. The day is also observed as National Youth day. The Sports and Youth Welfare Department of the state has organised Vivek Chetana Utsav to commemorate the day.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Political leaders across party line have been paying tributes to Swamiji at his birthplace in North Kolkata since this morning. Minister Sashi Panja, MP Sudip Bandhyopadhyay, BJP leader Kailash Vijaybargiya and Shuvendu Adhikari visited Simla Street to show respect. Due to the pandemic situation, entry of common people has been stopped there as well as Belur Math, the headquarters of Ramakrishna Math and Mission. The Union Minister of State for Culture and Tourism Prahlad Singh Patel visited Belur Math this morning and paid tribute to Swami ji.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The State Government is also commemorating the day at the Secretariat.
