15 killed three injured in UP train jeep collision

In Uttar Pradesh 15 people were killed and 3 others seriously injured when the Mathura-Kasganj Express rammed into an overcrowded jeep at an unmanned railway crossing at Hathras this morning. The jeep was carrying 18 passengers, all coming from Sathia village in Sasni tehsil. According to police the injured people have been admitted to a hospital. Railway sources said the mishap took place when the jeep tried to cross the track even as the train was approaching.
