In the West African country of Mali, at least 15 people have been killed and a number of others injured in a stampede at a mosque in heritage town of Timbuktu. <br/><br/>Police today said, the incident occurred yesterday night during the Mouloud festival at the Djinguereber mosque, the main shrine in the region. <br/><br/>The Mouloud festival attracted a large crowd of people to observe the birthday of the Prophet Mohammed at the mosque, when the stampede took place.<br/><br/>
