<span style="color: #222222;">Fifteen officers belonging to 2017 batch of the Indian Information Service today passed out from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication in New Delhi fully equipped with the required skills to take up various responsibilities as Media Managers of the Government of India.<br />'' <br />'' The valedictory function held at IIMC, New Delhi, was presided over by the Secretary of Information & Broadcasting Ministry.<br />'' <br />'' Addressing the event, Secretary Amit Khare said that in the current era, where technology is changing at a rapid pace, Indian Information Service officers need life long learning approach.<br />'' <br />'' The two-year training of Indian Information Service officers comprises a holistic course on communication skills, research modules, attachment with different media units of Government of India and other departments like the defence forces that require skilled officers to take care of their information dissemination and public relation requirements.</span><br />'' <br />''
