Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari today said that 15 electric buses based on economically viable battery technology are being developed in collaboration with Indian Space Research Organisation. Mr Gadkari said in New Delhi that these buses will ply on roads within six months on a pilot basis. He said, such buses will not only check pollution by cutting down carbon emissions specially in urban areas.
