Altogether 15 companies have been prosecuted in the last three years for fraudulent conduct. The number of individuals booked for committing corporate frauds during this period is 186. The Minister of Corporate Affairs, Dr. M. Veerappa Moily gave this information in the Lok Sabha today. He said, the Serious Frauds Investigating Organisation, SFIO, under his Ministry handled 50 cases of irregularities by the companies during this period.
