15 Australian cops face discriplinary action for racist e-mail

In Australia, 15 more police officers are facing disciplinary action in the racist e-mail incident against Indian community living in the country. Deputy Commissioner of Victorian police Kieran Walshe said the administration have been working very closely with the Indian community over the last several months to ensure the safety of Indian students. Mr. Walshe said such e-mail has done nothing, but seriously jeopardize the good work that's been done. The Victorian police officers have been caught in a racist e-mail scandal joking about the electrocution of an Indian train passenger and suggesting that it could be a way to fix the Indian student problem in Melbourne. Relating to the incident four policemen have been sacked, one has been demoted, another five have been fined up to 3000 dollars and placed on 12-month good behaviour bonds for their involvement in the case.
