The 14th summit of G15 countries will be held in the Iranian capital Tehran tomorrow. The summit is expected to focus on improving south-south cooperation, addressing global inequities and assessing the impact of global economic recovery on developing nations. The Tehran summit is likely to repeat previous calls for restructuring of international financial institutions and a more equitable representation of developing countries in those institutions. The Group of Fifteen (G-15) was established at a Summit Level Group of Developing Countries in September 1989, following the conclusion of the Ninth Non-Aligned Summit Meeting in Belgrade.
