The 14th National Conference of Water resources and Irrigation Minsiters is in progress in New Delhi today. The day long conference was inaugurated by the Union Minister for Water Resources Mr Pawan Kumar Bansal. Water Resources Minsiters from various states are participating in the meeting to deliberate thredbare on the water related issues including present water crisis and scientific planning of water resources. Our correspondent reports that meeting is expected to chalk out a comprehensive plan for water mnagement in the country.
