<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The Fourth Session of 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly which is also the Budget session, was adjourned Sine die by Speaker Sharingain Longkumer.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">During the four day seatings, the house passed four bills, adopted four resolutions and laid 57 annual Administrative reports of various departments and nine rules, besides presentation of several other Assembly committee reports.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The bills passed includes The Nagaland Salaries, Allowances &amp; other Facilities of the Chief Minister, Speaker, Deputy Chief Minister/ Ministers, Leader of Opposition, Deputy Speaker and other Members of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly and Pension for Ex-Members (Sixth Amendment) Bill, 2024; The Nagaland Goods and Services Tax (Seventh Amendment) Bill, 2023"; Nagaland Appropriation (No. 1) Bill, 2024 and Nagaland Appropriation (No. 2) Bill, 2024.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">In his concluding remarks, Speaker Sharingain Longkumer termed the budget &nbsp;2024-2025 as one of the finest budget presented before the august House. Mr. Longkumer said, the Budget is holistic, progressive, people centric and has an element of humane approach. It touches all the spectrum that is required for the socio-economic upliftment of the people and the state in &nbsp;particular. Mr. Longkumer hoped that the budget will initiate a resurgent Nagaland.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The Speaker thanked the leader of the house and members across party lines for their dignified parliamentary indulgence and participation and cooperating with the Chair in running the House effectively and efficiently.</p>
