In Kerala, the 14th annual meeting of the Asia Pacific Group on Money Laundering began in Kochi on Monday. About 350 delegates from 40 member countries and representatives from several international organisations are participating in the five day event. India is currently the co-chair of the Group along with Australia. Union Finance Minister Mr Pranab Mukherjee will formally inaugurate the meet on Tuesday. The Asia Pacific Group on Money Laundering is a collaborative international organisation founded in Bangkok in 1997 committed to fight money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism.
