<br/>The 145th birth anniversary of great freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai is being celebrated on Thursday. Functions are being organised in schools and colleges to observe the day.<br/><br/>In Punjab, people in his native village Dhudike in Moga disitrict celebrated the day by organising seminar and religious function. Young generation of the village was informed about the good name he brought to the village by his contribution to the freedom struggle.<br/><br/>Punjab National Bank(PNB) is specially paying tributes to the freedom fighter for his contribution to the banking sector as he was one of the founders of PNB.<br/>
