Section 144 of Cr.PC has been imposed in Jammu district in view of the yatra to Amarnath cave sponsored by Vishwa Hindu Parishad beginning today against the official date of June 25. Hudreds of VHP activists from different states have reached Jammu.

The Jammu & Kashmir government has warned that action will be taken against those who take out the yatra before the official date.
