At least 14 people were killed in Iraq yesterday in deadly bomb blasts, one targeting a UN convoy carrying the world body's chief diplomat in the country. One Iraqi policemen was killed in the convoy bombing and two others were seriously wounded. The deadliest bombing was in the northern city of Tikrit where authorities say a bomb exploded outside the home of a high level security official killing eleven people. Investigators say many of those killed were officer's family member including at least one child.
