In Pakistan, at least 14 people were killed and 52 others injured in a suicide bomb attack in the restive swat valley. The suicide bomber blew himself in the busy area of Mingora city. He came in an auto rickshaw and detonated his bomb near check post outside the district court, a heavily guarded area. Witnesses said some 25 vehicles were destroyed and several shops and roadside restaurants were damaged in the attack.

The attack has caused panic in Mingora and hotels and shops were shut down. Authorities have imposed curfew in the area after the explosion.

Pakistan Taliban claimed responsibility for the suicide bomb today and the blasts in Lahore yesterday. Azam Tariq, a spokesman for the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, told CNN by phone that Pakistan has become puppet of U.S and warned of more attacks, if this policy is not changed. He said their 2,000 suicide bombers, who have already spread across the country, will act against security personnel and government installations.
