14 killed, 35 injured in Iraq

In Iraq, 14 people were killed and 35 injured in explosions at a market in the country's second-largest city Basra last evening. According to official Iraqi National News Agency, the blasts resulted from a generator's explosion. Basra police chief Adil Daham also confirmed the agency that the explosions were caused by a malfunctioning power generator. Basra is 550 kilometers southeast of Baghdad
