14-days Institutional Quarantine mandatory for all Nagaland returnees: Govt

<span style="color: #222222;">Nagaland State Government said that all persons entering the state from today onwards, irrespective of place of origin of journey will undergo mandatory 14 days Institutional Quarantine at the designated centres and thereafter proceed for 14 days mandatory Home Quarantine.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In an order issued by Chief Secretary, Temjen Toy today said in respect of persons above the age of 60 years, children below the age of 10 years and parents and pregnant women accompanying spouse would be thoroughly screened and on the advice of the Medical Team at the Quarantine Centre, they will be sent for mandatory Home Quarantine for 28 days with active surveillance.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">However, this order would not be applicable to those persons who have already entered the state before 18th of May from Orange or Green Zones and have not crossed Red Zones en route to the state.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">This order comes following the partial modification of Standard Operating Procedure, SOP for person entering Nagaland issued on 14th of this month by the Empowered Group. The order further said that all other provisions of SOP would continue to be in effect.</span><br />''
