Police in Singapore have arrested 14 people suspected of being involved in an international football match-fixing ring including the alleged leader known as Dan Tan. He is wanted by the authorities in Italy, accused of running a network of European fixers, who paid players in the lower divisions of Italian football in order to influence results.
