The 13th round of Foreign Office Consultations between India and Uzbekistan were held in New Delhi today. During the meeting, the two sides discussed entire gamut of issues including high-level political exchanges, defence cooperation, trade and commercial ties, development cooperation, connectivity, cultural and consular matters. <br/><br/>Plans to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of establishment of Diplomatic Relations between India and Uzbekistan were also discussed. Both sides also exchanged views on issues of regional and global importance while acknowledging the commonality of positions on matters of reform of international institutions and cooperation in regional groups like the SCO.<br/><br/>The Indian side was led by Secretary (East) Preeti Saran, and the Uzbek side by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs (West) Mr. Dilyor Khakimov.
