13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly concludes today with longest duration of Question Hour

Speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly, NLA Mr. Sharingain Longkumer adjourned the House sine die after two days of sittings. The twelfth session of the 13th NLA commenced on 20th September and concluded today, which is also the last session before the state goes to general election early next year.<br />''<br />''Speaker Mr. Sharingain Longkumer made a valedictory remark saying that it is the first time in the history of Nagaland Legislative Assembly, that on 20th September, the House had the longest duration of the Question Hour of sixty-five minutes over and above the normally allotted time. He said it was an extraordinary exception, adding that such precedence should not follow.<br />''<br />''<br />''<br />''He also informed the members that the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly starting from the first Session in 2018  to the 12th Session, has had 38 days of sittings, with a total sitting time taken of 151 hours and 50 minutes.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Longkumer said, the 13th House passed 26 Reports, 26 Bills and adopted 8 Resolutions apart from various other very important businesses transacted.</span><br />
