13th National Conference on e-governance will begin in Jaipur on Thursday. The Governor of Rajasthan Smt. Prabha Rao will inaugurate the two day conference jointly organised by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, Department of Information & Technology Government of India and Department of Information Technology, Government of Rajasthan.<br/><br/>The Chief Minister, Mr. Ashok Gehlot, Minister of State in PMO Mr. Prithviraj Chavan,and Union Minister of State for Communication and Information Technology Mr. Sachin Pilot, will also address the conference.<br/><br/>National Awards for e-Governance 2009-10 will be given away in seven categories to the winners at the inaugural session. These awards are given to recognise and promote excellence in implementation of e-Governance initiatives. An exhibition showcasing the capacities, products and e-Governance initiatives of Government and private sector will also be inaugurated.<br/>
