In Jammu and Kashmir, 13 persons have been killed in a tragic road accident on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in wee hours today.

According to official sources, a Vehicle carrying 13 passengers which was on its way from Jammu to Srinagar skidded off the road when its driver lost control over his steering and rolled down about 800 feet into a deep gorge near Digdol in Ramban district.

The dead include six females, four male and three children. Their identity is being ascertained.
