In Pakistan, at least 14 people were killed and 52 others injured in a suicide bomb attack in the restive swat valley. The suicide bomber blew himself in the busy area of Mingora city. He came in an auto rickshaw and detonated his bomb near check post outside the district court, a heavily guarded area. Police sources said the dead included two soldiers, two policemen and a child. Witnesses said some 25 vehicles were destroyed and several shops and roadside restaurants were damaged in the attack.<br/><br/>The attack has caused panic in Mingora and hotels and shops were shut down. No group claimed responsibility for the attack. Authorities have imposed curfew in the area after the explosion.<br/><br/>The blast comes close on the heals of 7 blasts in Lahore claiming 45 lives and injuring 100 others. Five low-intensity explosions went off in the space of minutes near a market in Lahore last night, hours after two suicide bombers struck an army convoy.
