In Pak-occupied Kashmir, at least 14 children were killed and three others injured when the bus taking them to school plunged into a canal on Friday morning. Assistant Commissioner Bhimber Ali Asghar said the accident took place in Head Ali Baig town. So far, 13 bodies have been retrieved from the canal while one child succumbed to injuries on way to hospital. He said the bus driver had been speeding when he lost control of the vehicle. There were more than 20 people in the bus when the mishap occured. It had picked up children, all below the age of 15, from Ali Baig town to drop them at different schools in Mirpur. Three children have been admitted to a local hospital. Rescue teams were still searching for missing children and the driver.
