In Australia, thirteen people have been arrested in a series of drug raids in the southern New South Wales town of Jindabyne and the Northern Territory. They include 10 men and 3 women, ranging in age from 19 to 36. Police seized illegal drugs and prohibited weapons including nun chucks, knives and samurai swords. According to police, the drugs, including cannabis, steroids, methamphetamines, cocaine and LSD have an estimated street value of over 40,000 dollars. The raids mark the culmination of a 13-month investigation. Over 80 officers and police dogs were involved in the raids at various locations.
