The 12th Senior Women Boxing Championships will begin in Bhopal this evening. Our Bhopal correspondent reports that the State Home Minister Umashankar Gupta will inaugurate the Championships.About 250 women boxers from 27 teams will participate in the six day Championships. The 52 kilogram category event will be the centre of attraction. Five time world champion M C MaryKom, L Sarita, Meera and Pinky will participate in this category. L Sarita was declared best boxer in the 11th Senior Women Boxing Championships held in Trishur. Preliminary bouts will start after the opening ceremony today and quarterfinal bouts will start from 13th October.
