12th Mekong Ganga Cooperation Senior Officials' Meeting reviews progress made since Aug last year

<span style="color: #222222;">The 12th Mekong Ganga Cooperation, MGC Senior Officials' Meeting reviewed the progress in all areas of cooperation. MGC is an initiative by six countries – India and five ASEAN countries, namely, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam for cooperation in tourism, culture, education, as well as transport and communications. <br />''<br />''The Meeting held yesterday through video conference reviewed progress made since the 10th MGC Ministerial Meeting held in Bangkok in August last year.<br />''<br />''The sectors which came under review include tourism, culture, education science and technology, traditional medicine and health, agriculture and allied sectors, water resources management, transportation and communication and small and medium enterprises. Vijay Thakur Singh, Secretary(East) in the Ministry of External Affairs and Sok Soken, Under Secretary of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Cambodia attended the meeting.</span><br />
