The Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh says, the 12th five year plan will focuses on health, education and infrastructure. Addressing the meeting of the full Planning Commission in New Delhi on Saturday Dr Manmohan Singh said, nine percent growth is feasible. The meeting will discuss the draft approach paper for the 12th Five Year Plan. Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia told reporters in New Delhi on Friday that the Approach Paper provides a broad framework of the government policy to be pursued in the five-year period to achieve the desired growth rate. After the nod by the Planning Commission, the document will be placed before the Union Cabinet for consideration before being taken up for discussion and final approval by the country's highest policy-making body, the National Development Council (NDC).
