One hundred and twenty eight persons died due to swine flue across the country during the week ending 5th of this month. The maximum number of 45 deaths occured in Maharashtra followed by 32 in Gujarat. 13 deaths were reported from Madhya Pradesh, 12 in Karnataka and 9 in Rajasthan. Four people died of Swine flue in Delhi. In all 1257 fresh cases were reported during the week. All the cases were indigenous. Maximum number of 381 fresh cases were reported from Maharashtra, 316 from Delhi and 212 from Karnataka.
