In Assam, 12 persons, mostly school children, died in a tragic road accident at Dabli in Goalpara district last night. The mishap occurred when a speeding truck coming from opposite direction run over a group of students who were on their way to enjoy a Bihu function at around 10.30 last night. Nine of them died on the spot while three others succumbed to their injuries in hospital. Another three seriously injured are undergoing treatment in hospital. <br/>
