In Karnataka, 12 people were killed and 36 injured in two road accidents. In a mishap, eight people, including seven women were killed and eight others injured when a truck rammed into a stationary van at Aurad cross, about 100 km from Gulbarga in the wee hours.The victims were on the way to attend a funeral from Yadgir to Bidanava. In another accident four people died and 28 injured when a private bus fell into a ditch near Sirsi last night.The bus was on its way to Mumbai from Mangalore.
