In Maharashtra, at least twelve people were killed and many others injured following a collision between a private bus and tanker in the Thane district early this morning.
The police said that the incident occurred around 7 AM after the private luxury bus carrying passengers collided with a tanker at Medvan Khind in Thane.
Resident Deputy Collector Manoj Gohad said relief and rescue operation have already been launched. Further details are awaited.
