In Andhra Pradesh, 12 passengers were killed and seven others injured in a fire, which broke out in an air conditioned coach of the Bangalore-Nanded express in the wee hours today.

The fire was known when the train was near Kothacheruvu between Dharmavaram and Puttaparthy in Ananthapur district of Andhra Pradesh. AIR correspondent reports that relief operations are underway.
