12 new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Karnataka

<span style="color: #222222;">Karnataka has 308 active COVID-19 positive cases, with 366 discharges and 30 deaths. Twelve new cases and one death were confirmed today from Bengaluru Urban, Belagavi, Bagalkote, Davangere, Dharwad and Kalburgi. Totally 1,103 persons under observation are kept in isolation at designated hospitals across the state. Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa held a meeting with tax officials today and has given them instructions to plug all revenue losses.<br />''<br />''AIR correspondent reports that while addressing the officials, the Chief Minister has instructed them to take strong action against false e-way bills, misuse of transportation rules. He ,however , advised them to improve revenue collection without harassing the traders. Later in a meeting with the farmers, the Chief Minister assured them the agriculture sector will not have any hindrance due to the lock down. State Revenue Department Principal Secretary N Manjunath Prasad has written to the nodal officers appointed in each of the nine states seeking to receive the migrant labourers. The states include Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Odisha. According to the sources in the Revenue Department consent is received from Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.</span><br />
