In UP, the death toll due to encephalitis continues to rise in Gorakhpur and Basti divisions of the eastern region.AIR Gorakhpur correspondent reports that with 12 more deaths during last 48 hours, the death toll has risen to 433. As many as 24 new encephalitis patients were admitted into BRD Medical College of Gorakhpur since last evening.Two hundred and twenty seven encephalitis patients are still undergoing treatment in the government hospitals of the region.
