<br/>At least 12 people were killed and two critically injured when their vehicle crashed headlong into a truck near Nagothane, about 100 km from Mumbai early this morning. AIR Correspondent from Raigad Shobhana Deshmukh reported that around 2.30 am the Sumo carrying 14 people crashed headlong into a truck speeding from the opposite direction. Twelve people who succumbed to death include 3 women, 7 men and two small kids. All the victims were from Mumbai and were going to attend a wedding in Khed Taluka of Ratnagiri district. The injured have been shifted to Sion Hospital in Mumbai. However, the accident on the busy Mumbai-Goa highway has not affected the traffic.
