In the Philippines, at least twelve people were killed and many others injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a passenger jeep in Cagayan province in the northern part of the country today. Reports say a closed trailer truck suffered a blown tyre, causing it to lose control and hit the jeep.<br/><br/>
