Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) President Kuldeep Bishnoi and around twenty party workers including 12 policemen were injured in a clash between HJC workers and Chandigarh police. HJC workers under the leadership of its president Kuldeep Bishnoi and Member Parliament Bhajan Lal were trying to proceed to Haryana assembly to Gherao it, after protest rally sector 25 of Chandigarh.<br/><br/>HJC was protesting against the alleged illegal merger of its five MLA`s into the congress. The party is also annoyed with Speaker Harmohinder Singh Chatha for delaying action against MLA`s on appeals filed before him.<br/><br/>HJC workers when broke the barricaders to move to Haryana Assembly, Police used water canons and tear gas to stop them and worker in response pelted stones on Police. Police also lathi charged. Bishnoi received injuries on the back and head and he was taken to sector 16 hospital of Chandigarh for treatment.<br/><br/>Mr Bishnoi said that HJC will soon approach Punjab and Haryana High Court for seeking directions for early hearing on their petition before the speaker regarding disqualification of five defected MLA`s. HJC president had announced to Gherao the Vidhansabha on first day of session.<br/>
