The 11th convocation of the National Institute of Technology, Calicut (NIT-C) will be held tomorrow at the Kozhikode campus. Noted physicist K.L. Chopra, honorary professor at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, will preside over the function. Over 1,400 graduates of the NIT-C under various streams including B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, MBA and MCA will take part in the ceremony.<br/><br/>The NIT-C has around 6,000 students, 200 faculty members and 250 non-teaching staff spread across 10 departments. Aruna Jayanthi, chairperson, Board of Governors, NIT-C, Shivaji Chakravoti, Director, NIT-C, and others will also participate in the convocation ceremony.
