The 11th edition of Auto Expo began in New Delhi on Thursday. The theme of this year's event is , ‘Mobility for All’, with emphasis on green technology on a larger scale. Auto majors and component manufacturers are focusing on safety and importance of eco-friendly sources and vehicles through futuristic technologies and creative designs.

AIR correspondent reports that With 1500 representatives from 24 countries participating in this edition of Auto Expo,the event is likely to emerge as the biggest one with the participation of every major automotive brand operating across the globe.

The total pavilions booked by German car makers at Pragati Maidan covers maximum space, while Tata Motors have the largest stand.In order to ensure proper management, the organisers are extra cautious this time.

Besides limiting the number of visitors, they have also planned out different entry timings for general and business class.The expo will be open for general public from Saturday. On 9 th, 10 th and 11 th of , the entry will be restricted to business visitors that can make their way to the expo, from 10am to 1pm.
