114 militants lay down arms in Manipur

In Manipur, altogether 114 militants have laid down arms this morning before the state Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh in a home coming ceremony held at the Headquarters of the Inspector General of Assam Rifles(South) at Mantripukhri in Imphal. The militants also handed over arms and ammunitions including AK-Rifles, Lathode guns, carbines and pistols. The surrendered militants belong to United National Liberation Front, Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup, People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak, Kuki National Liberation Front and People’s Liberation Army.
