1,10,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses administered across Odisha

In Odisha, 986 session sites were held yesterday to vaccinate covid-19 beneficiaries. A total of one lakh ten thousand vaccine doses were administered at these centres across the state. AIR correspondent reports that in keeping with its target of vaccinating one lakh senior citizens per day, the state health administration almost approximated the mark by vaccinating 96 thousand 529 people above 60 years of age yesterday. The number of beneficiaries vaccinated yesterday include a little over 5,000 persons above 45 years of age with comorbid conditions taking their first vaccine doses and around 7,000 Healthcare and frontline workers receiving their second vaccine jabs.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, the state has been able to administer a cumulative total of more than 15 lakh doses of Covishield and Covaxin to the beneficiaries with the first five lakh doses administered in 30 days as against the second five lakh in 15 days and the third 5 lakh doses in just 6 days.</span><br />
